Why not letting go !

Why not let go: Stop the constant reasoning ! Abandon yourself! Why not let go? The price of an active and intimate spiritual life with Christ would not be without a good dose of ‘letting go’. The renunciation of our own efforts, of our own intelligence, to become the tangible manifestation of God on this earth.

(Matthew 16:24)

Sometimes we remain stuck in certain habits, ways of thinking and acting. This requires us to let go, to take some distance from our situations. Realize that it is no longer I who lives but Christ in me, realize that if I live today it is by faith. (Galatians 2:20)
Don’t you think, our focus should be to praise Him, to worship Him, to simply contemplate Him. Practicing His Presence is a way of living an abandonment of reason, an abandonment of our flesh, looking to the one in whom we believed.
“For the preaching of the cross is foolishness for those who perish; but for us who are saved, it is the power of God.
Therefore it is written, “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and I will destroy the understanding of the wise.” (1 Cor 1: 18-19)

Do not reason any more! Can we say that only madmen have not lost their reason. (1 Co 1: 25-27)  Detached from all sophism of reason, running in order to complete the race, fought the good fight of faith for if we can receive the crown of life. For it will be your strength, your intelligence, your wisdom. That is what will make the difference in your choices, your decision-making, acts of faith perpetually erected against all enemies, fights and negative realities. The simple fact of giving up reasoning by your own intellect, letting go is the key to pure faith. “It is not by power nor by strength, but by my spirit,” says the LORD of hosts. Practice his presence, rise up to his Glorious revelation. Abandon yourself! Abraham, the contemplative, who with his eyes fixed on the sky looking at the stars, has let go. He did not reason because he had received more than any philosophical wisdom, he dropped everything because he discovered His divine presence there. He abandoned himself because there was this revelation. He had more than what a human life can contain. He let go of everything … his country, that is to say, the abandonment of his culture, his country which represents his social condition, his father’s house, that is to say, his intimacy. Such is the starting point of all mystical life, it is an essentially mystical fact, so mysterious in its essence, however tangible in its results. Why not let go simply and give up to him. It is the glorious reality that He always attracts you closer to him. It is such a powerful force of attraction, so powerful and so glorious that you can do no more than praise Him, worship Him and contemplate Him. “All of us who, with their faces uncovered, contemplate as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, we are transformed into the same image, from glory to glory, as by the Lord, the Spirit. (2 Cor 3:18) It is in this that all our present afflictions will appear so futile and devoid of any meaning. “For our slight afflictions of the present moment produce for us, beyond all measure, an eternal weight of glory, because we look, not at the visible things, but at those that are invisible; for the visible things are transient, and the invisible are eternal. And he who has formed us for this is God, who has given us the earnest of the Spirit. We are therefore always full of confidence, and we know that by remaining in this body we remain far from the Lord because we walk by faith and not by sight ” (2 Co 4: 18/2 Co 5: 1-7)

Be sensitive to this call, no longer look at your earthly circumstances, it is a step in front of you. Something tells me that nothing can separate you from this divine presence. Develop this way of life based on His word, His presence. Let go and no longer reason, abandon yourself to him. We must sacrifice to God our ambitions, our personal interests; abandon our superficial egocentric conceptions and attitudes. Abandon yourself freely and hold this position of humility before Him, who in His great goodness gives us free access to the Glorious Throne of His grace. Be inspired, intuitive, and contemplative. Let God act as he pleases in your life! Open your hearts and allow God to reveal His glory to you!

Let God send you into the nations of the world!
